Saturday 8^th December

We had a lazy morning pottering around the house, Bob went to the local barber for a much needed haircut and then we walked the 4 km or so  from here to the McLean High School where we attended a presentation of “Les Miserables”.  

The school certainly knew how to use the opportunity to raise funds as there were stalls along every available corridor selling goods ranging from jewellery, woodwork, craft works and food.  The production was outstanding and I realized how committed all these students must be in order to present such a polished performance.  By the time it finished darkness was descending outside ( approximately 4.40 pm) so we strolled home again admiring many of the well decorated and lit Christmas trees along the way.
