Today we decided to be beavers or
rats and explore the underground of Montreal.
The brochures tell us this underground city has a vast network of
pedestrian walkways. There are 33
kilometres of connecting passageways where some 1700 shops, 7 major hotels,
museums theatres, universities and an arena can be found.
The afternoon produced quite a
flurry of snow showers so we chose to see the latest Bond movie, Skyfall. I haven’t seen a James Bond picture for
decades and must admit I quite enjoyed it.
Following the movie we found a Vietnamese restaurant which was crowded
and served really great food.
